Coz I had/have to

Heyya readers!!! You must be wondering where have I gone eh? The moon? I'm totally sorry for being missing this long. I tellin ya, I've got so many things to blog about. I guess I'm gonna squish it all up here in one post. It all happen at the end of last month.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Assignments and No Sleep

Assignments!! Yes... I had three assignments due all within the span of 3 weeks. Not mentioning 2 presentations within. The first was this freakishly hard to understand subject called Organizational Communication. So it was due on a Friday, and so I stayed up the whole night at my friends home, finishing it up. Now you may be thinking, owh, whole night?? Could have been a few dozen pages. I tell you, it was not. Try half a dozen. Yes, only 6 pages of work and it took us the whole night to finish up the last half of the paper. That's how hard it is to understand and write. And this happened right after our interview in Bangsar with Ahirudin Attan a.k.a. Rocky's Bru. I'll fill you in on this later.

Anyway that's on the first week. The second, we stayed up all night again, now trying to finish up Communication Research Method. Now this is a full scale mini thesis. Almost 50 pages. This is kinda hard to do but it was fun too coz we had to interview some people. We managed to interviewed Markus, a friend of mine and also Ahirudin Attan, a famous Malaysian Political blogger, who did get into trouble with the law once becoz of his writing. Check out his blog (http://rockybru.blogspot.com/).

By the way, during our trip to Bangsar Village II for the interview with Rocky, we spotted this super-chun Lamborghini.
Ko tengok ekzos ngan rim dia betul-betul...

The third, is this subject called media planning. Nothing mush to say here coz it was really nothing compared to the first to assignments. We just had to come up with a media plan for Lifelong Learning by MCA, and plan how they should advertise.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------TLC Combo wrapping day

In preparation for our Truly Loving Campaign, we, the company exhibition team got our butts to TLC: The Truly Loving company in Bukit Damansara, to pack all the combo sets to be sold on the event days. Oh boy was it fun. Sad however, coz there was 14 of us and the college van could only take 13 of us. Some stupid rule and insurance that made me drive instead of squeezing an extra butt into the van.

Oh well, we were there the whole day anyway and we managed to pack a total of 240 sets. Alot ok... and the more we did it, the faster and better we were at doing it. Gosh, I must say, the TLC office is just so nice and cosy. Small, but very nicely organised and decorated. There is even this huge soft heart on the wall representing its logo. Parking over there was freaking expensive. Luckily, I can claim it as expenses for the event. Haha.
Check out the range of TLC products.

Yep that's right, use the floor, get your hands all dirty... well, the floor was clean anyway.

All working hard

The big soft heart

Not only is the office nice, the people there are even nicer. Even the CEO, Ms Julia, goes down on the floor for this photo.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------TLC: The Truly Loving Campaign!!!

Finally its here... well, its gone now.

From the 11th to the 13th of Aug, we(APR1) organized our Truly Loving Campaign. And gosh, it was a success alright. Well, it didn't really all start on the 11th. We actually started all the planning weeks before, maybe months. and 2 days before for setting up the venue. God it was tiring.
And in preparing the materials for setting up, some of us did not sleep the whole night. You know what... I'll let the photos do the talking alright? I'll just highlight some points.
My blood sweat and tears, my pride. Haha. This soap box tower was my idea and i did build it with my own hands. With some help from the rest of course. It somehow almost ended up like the leaning tower of Pisa.

Moving trees and plants into the hall.

Tadaa! And this is what we finally put together.

Digi was our main sponsor, but I felt they were a lil too hard sell. Even the deco spotlight gotta put their logo.

Apalalu!!

Ha, baru ngam. Let's spread the Love bebeh...
